Collection, comprised of more than 1700 items, including personal
correspondence by and to Ernest Jones and his family, letters from Jones's
solicitors pertaining to his bankruptcy, evidence pertaining to his libel
case, letters to and from Chartist localities requesting his services as
lecturer, and letters pertaining to his legal career. Also included are
some printed materials and personal notebooks related to his journalistic
enterprises, and several letters to and from his sons.
